APPLICATION OF PAPER TOWELS

While we use our share of napkins and cloth rags, but there is no substitute for paper towels for some jobs. Paper towels are marketed to clean up spills or for other useful purposes. As we know that these can be used for drying, filtration, preventing wax marks and cleaning purposes.

Let's have a look at the following application of paper towels.....


    CHECK VIABILITY OF OLD SEEDS:

    Paper towels are used to check the viability of seeds. Take some old seed and pack them in the damped paper towels. Then cover this with another paper sheet. Keep this covered seed as it is for some days. Now again pack this with wet paper towels. If most of the seeds sprout after some days, then plant the seeds.

    CLEANING SEWING MACHINE:

    After repairing your machine by using grease or oils, then the cloth is filled with oil. Now this will harm your sewing project. For preventing this, use the paper towel trick. We can clean the sewing machine with this towel to take off the grease or oil in the machine and in addition use the paper towel for sewing on it by threading the sewing machine.

    Cleaning the corn from silk is a fun task to be done. This is a pretty cool trick. Have you ever seen an ear of corn with silk stubbornly attach to it? 
    Take a paper towel and moisturize it with water. Then cover the fresh corn having silk with the moisturized paper towel for a while. Now, wait for a little time. Let's have a look it will easily separate the corn from silk. 

    PREVENT RUSTING:

    Paper towels are used to keep the cast iron pots from rusting.  Now stop rust from invading the prized collection cast iron pots. After when these are cleaned, then dry the pots with a paper towel to absorb water. Keep paper towels between lids and pots. It is a fun trick to prevent rusting.

    KEEP HERBS AND GREENS FRESH:

    Lettuce, herbs, chard, and other greens can tend to wilt within the fridge. Add a moist towel to the bag they're kept in, and see how their lives are dramatically extended! The towel holds moisture to take care of a cushty humidity level, without keeping the greens damp and allowing them to start out rotting. This will help us to keep our vegetables and herbs fresh.

    Paper towels are used to keep frozen bread from getting soggy. Ever stick a loaf of bread in the freezer for later, thaw it out, and discover that you have a soggy mess? That's no Bueno. Try adding a paper towel to the bag before freezing. When you do that, it'll collect the moisture and wick it away from the bread, keeping your loaf nice and fresh.

    Set a towel over the wax stain and run an iron over it on low. Then it will absorb the crayon, while also protecting the iron. This works on hard surfaces like boards, but you'll use it on carpets too!

    While rags should be your cleanup medium of choice, sometimes a towel really is that the perfect tool for the work
